Special Website Subcomittee
The Website Committee operates under the direction of a chair appointed by the Director of the Central Office and manages the website and digital presence of Intergroup. The website committee chair (webservant) ensures meetings published to the official AA Meetings app is kept up-to-date, sends digital notifications to interested members in appropriate means as requested by intergroup members. It is not currently defined in the bylaws.
The current webservant, Mary P., can be contacted via email at nepaaaigwebsite@gmail.com. She is not a participant on the groupme ‘text blast’ notifications channel; that format is moderated by members of the website committee and central office committee.
Meeting Change and ‘Text Blast’ Requests
Please send all meeting change requests, text blast requests and website suggestions via email to nepaaaigwebsite@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee any requests made in any other format will be honored.
Changelog
To maintain accountability and visibility, the webservant maintains a changelog of all changes made on the website. Issues with the website can be addressed more directly when the changelog item is referenced.
Bugs/Error Logging
The current version of the website is managed by GoDaddy managed wordpress, but pending approval of voting Intergroup members that may change. Please report bugs via email to nepaaaigwebsite@gmail.com. In your report please include
- The action you were completing when the bug/unexpected error occurred
- The page on which the unexpected behavior occured
- The desired behavior
- The word ‘Bug’ as the first word of the email title
Feature suggestions and requests are more actionable when this format is adhered to as closely as possible.
