Public Information
The Public Information committee provides information about Alcoholics Anonymous through presentations at and distribution of conference-approved literature to schools, churches, and the service groups, at health fairs and to other non-AA groups within the NEPAIG area. The committee is defined in section 6.03 of the Intergroup Bylaws.
The Public Information Committee responds to requests for information for professional organizations and media. If you are looking for information about Alcoholics Anonymous or meetings for yourself or for a still sick or suffering alcoholic please contact the hotline or view our meetings list. About NEPA Intergroup Public Information
The Public Information Committee provides information about A.A. through our “Adopt-a-Spot” program. Pamphlet racks and books are placed in public libraries, doctors offices, schools, police stations, court houses and magistrate offices.
If needing to fill public information pamphlets or books, please fill out NEPAIG Public Information Literature Request Form before coming to Intergroup store location. Also, the Public Information literature request form can be given to the Public Information Chairperson at the NEPAIG monthly meeting.
Requests
To request the placement of a brochure rack, print and complete the Public Information Literature Request Form and return it to the Public Information Chair during an intergroup meeting.
NEPA Intergroup meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at Our Lady of the Apostles Hall at 742 Spring St, Avoca, PA 18641.
